About
The time has come to prepare ourselves, our families, and our communities for the redemption of Zion and the establishment of heaven on earth. Scripture teaches that Zion is both a place and a people—those who are “of one heart and one mind, and dwell in righteousness” (Moses 7:18). This gathering is not about worldly philosophies or cultural traditions but about the covenant path of peace, the creative act of liberty, and consecration of time, talents, and resources for Zion. All Zion Camps are basically free. They are achieved from the consecrations given by attendees and from private gifts. They are open air campsite events at various times of the year, plus various online study groups. Zion Camps is an event dedicated to:
Building a foundation based on covenant, creation, and consecration.
Preparing hearts and minds for the redemption of Zion and the reign of Christ.
We gather not as specialists or spectators, but as one body, seeking unity and practical steps to live as a covenant people where each is seen as we are seen and known as we are known. (Doctrine and Covenants 76:94)

Our story is odd. The first event we conducted happened in Jan of 2026. It was mostly a success but was dominated by Team Fracture. They helped promote the event on their social media but demanded high fees, took control of the money, and left the vision of Zion Camps in debt. The creators of Zion Camps have covered those costs, which were in excess of $10,000. After much prayer they have decided to move forward with the vision, but this time God has asked us to make it as free as possible and ask all attending to consecrate what they can. This is the reason for the donation button. All funds are deposited in Heaven's Guidestone, a 501c3 non-profit.
Our fundraising effort is focused on raising enough funds to purchase commercial grade canvass yurt tents similar to what you see below. This will give Zion Camps the ability to be mobile and maintain greater access to the events at a super low cost. This means no conference centers, no hotels, and no catering fees. Instead of high costs to run an important learning and gathering event, we can go anywhere there is an open meadow or grassy field.

Our Core Principles
Consecration and Preparation: Through personal commitment and covenant, we set aside pride, control, and selfishness and prepare to consecrate our time, talents and resources for Zion. There are governing systems needed to receive consecration, and we must be prepared to understand and activate them.
The Great Law of Peace for Our Day: Together we will gather principles of consent given to us in the scriptures.
Christ as the Head of the Corner: What we do in equal agreement, by common consent, is more powerful than what is dictated by centralized control. Zion cannot be built by compulsion, but only by covenant and love. Our only leader is Christ himself, and we desire that men and women no longer counsel each other, but that “…every man speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the World” (Doctrine and Covenants 1:20-21).
Heaven’s Guidestone: Establish a living monument of faith, liberty, and peace that points toward the Great Peacemaker, our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, rather than the idolatrous worship of men. Unlike those who built the great tower and later rejected Christ as the head of the corner and thereby have their language confounded, we will not reject our Lord as our king of kings.
