Friday Jan 9 (Arrival and Dedication)
- 3-5:30 PM Registration and check-in with welcome packets. Open networking and visiting.
- 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM Dinner on your own.
- 7:00 PM Master Team of Ceremonies (MTC) gathers all attendees and invites all to their evening assigned groups.
- 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM Networking one-on-one in assigned groups, as directed by the MTC.
- 8:15 PM – 8:45 PM Opening dedication, with statement on the vision of Zion Camps.
- 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM+ Late night hikes, fire gazing, conversation, and hot chocolate or cider, or just an early bed for those needing more rest.
Saturday Jan 10 (Zion Immersion)
- 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM Early morning hike and breakfast on your own at your hotel. The Marriott Springhill Suites has a great breakfast from 6:00 AM-10:00 AM. We hope you make your stay there. To register, click here http://www.marriott.com/sguzi.
- 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM MTC calls everyone’s attention and gives instruction on reaching consent within your groups.
- 9:45 AM – MTC instructs everyone to bather in the group assigned from their registration. Please note, based on your registration, there are three types of groups: Vigorous Hiking Group, Lite Hiking Group, or a Hotel Group. There will be several of each type of group.
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM, each group is given the morning simulation packet and for the next two hours each group will tackle the question posed.
- 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Lunch/free time for those needing more time to work within their group and rest from the morning hike.
- 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM Flea-Market Vision: Free time where attendees can set up tables to present their visions and projects to build Zion in their communities, plus more open networking.
- 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM Evening presentations: unveiling each group’s answer to the question. The selected Zion Camps Council then separates to deliberate and pulls them together into one answer. They will deliberate into the evening until done.
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Dinner, tomatoe basil soup in a bread bowl, salad, drink and more.
- 9:00PM – 10:00PM+ Late night hikes, fire gazing, conversation, and hot chocolate or cider, or just an early bed for those needing more rest.
Sunday Jan 11
- 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM Early morning walk, and breakfast on your own at your hotel. The Marriott Springhill Suites has a great breakfast from 6:00 AM-10:00 AM. We hope you make your stay there. To register, click here http://www.marriott.com/sguzi.
- 9:30 AM Presentation of the council’s conclusion on what it means to be a terrible people in Zion. Declaration of Heaven’s Guidestone, our 501c3 non-profit that places Christ as the Head of the Corner for our time.
- Master Team of Ceremonies (MTC) closes with a charge to go forth as watchmen, peacemakers, and Zion-builders and to prepare to gather as terrible people.
- Closing prayer and blessing on all participants.
